A year ago
on Halloween night
A year ago, on
Halloween night,
I happened to see a very strange sight.
And now I will tell you of what I saw.
It was a monster breaking the law.
He was vandalizing old brick walls;
While making strange noises, like squalls.
I called the police up on the phone.
The answer was a mechanical drone.
Of that drone I only understood:
"Please leave a message, if you would."
I left a message on the machine.
Then, I woke up from my really weird dream.
