Seductress Passer-by with uncanny eye You see me seated alone, unwary Scent of roses, a wild cherry
Slender, slim; indulge your whim An exquisite body your flames ignite: Temptation for your appetite.
Eyes, pale blue, calling to you. Revealing clothes, skin nearly bare And long, flowing, lustrous hair
Curvaceous shape, your eyes agape Ivory teeth form an innocent smile Caught in my snare, build up your guile
Simple banter spilled by enchanter Words to entrance scented with honey Who can suspect an expression so sunny?
Your body aching, a chance taken Lean in close for a careful kiss Muscles stiffen upon hearing a hiss
Your blood runs cold at what you behold Eyes aghast to find a snake You draw back a little too late
Venom released, your heart rate increased, Two tidy holes made in your skin, A blur, confusion, your world topples and spins.
Your body beside me; I feel no pride I slide away before you have awoken With dreams shattered, heart broken
Just a poor boy, just another toy Another man has come to play Another man has fallen prey top – discuss – poetry
