Seductress Passer-by with uncanny eyeYou see me seated alone, unwaryScent of roses, a wild cherrySlender, slim; indulge your whimAn exquisite body your flames ignite:Temptation for your appetite.Eyes, pale blue, calling to you.Revealing clothes, skin nearly bareAnd long, flowing, lustrous hairCurvaceous shape, your eyes agapeIvory teeth form an innocent smileCaught in my snare, build up your guileSimple banter spilled by enchanterWords to entrance scented with honeyWho can suspect an expression so sunny?Your body aching, a chance takenLean in close for a careful kissMuscles stiffen upon hearing a hissYour blood runs cold at what you beholdEyes aghast to find a snakeYou draw back a little too lateVenom released, your heart rate increased,Two tidy holes made in your skin,A blur, confusion, your world topples and spins.Your body beside me; I feel no prideI slide away before you have awokenWith dreams shattered, heart broken
Just a poor boy, just another toy Another man has come to play Another man has fallen prey top – discuss – poetry
