A plant prospers in the sunlight

A plant prospers in the sunlight,

Dies slowly when the light is taken away.

A flower smells sweetly as long as it’s cared for,

Rots away when neglected.

A garden grows with careful tending,

Yields nothing when left alone.

A tree towers upwards if given freedom to grow,

Cowers close to the ground when crowded.
