As a work complete

And the feeling of having

Accomplished a feat.

To take pride in my work

And the energy spent

To achieve that on which

My attention was bent.

A feeling of pride,

And smile to know

The work is my own,

And to no one I owe

The fruits of my labor,

That which I create

For it is mine only

Without any debate.
