A Battle
Here is Fought
Everyday, in every
way
A battle here is fought.
It's in the air. Without a care.
A battle here is fought.
In our minds we all fight
A battle far more great
Than any fought on land.
We destroy ourselves from within,
And we do not notice
As our minds deteriorate
And we lose focus.
We say one thing and mean another.
We create standards that we never follow,
Rules which have no meaning.
We seem to lose the person we are,
Forget what we're really like.
This is where the world went wrong.
